Get rid of the sales manager’s office. Her office is the sales floor.

WHY? Too many managers spend too much time behind a shut door.

HOW? OK, she can keep her office, but during selling hours, your manager should be on the floor directing staff, ensuring the right sales person is matched with the right customer, mixing with customers herself, and ensuring all opportunities are being maximized.
