According to data collected by the Edge Retail Academy, these stores (less than $600,000 in sales) saw repair revenue surge 70 percent to over $21,000 between November and December last year as customers who were headed to their local jeweler to look for gifts dug out broken chains or decided to pick up some watch batteries.
HOW? Direct a repair promotion at your database that includes a cheaper option if the jobs are collected in January. Such an offer would not only improve December store sales from the increased traffic, but boost January cashflow from the extra repair dollars.
